The Team
The Business Operations team at Medallia is responsible for driving organizational strategy through process improvements, monitoring business metrics, and defining initiatives for change. We develop and deliver operational business processes for our Professional Services organization. Broadly, Professional Services is responsible for unlocking the value of the Medallia platform for our customers and our partners by ensuring they receive the system expertise and customer experience management guidance required for business impact. 

You will be critical team member that enables Medallia to manage its Professional Services business with profitability, while meeting our long-term business objectives as a company. Working cross-functionally with Professional Services, Sales, IT, Accounting, and your other Biz Ops teammates, you will perform analytics and develop business processes that positively impact our bottom line.

  • Metrics and Analysis (reporting)
  • Strategic Planning (forecast & trends)
  • Operational Excellence (drive efficiency) 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and dashboards.
  • Partner with offshore Business Operations team by helping remove obstacles, serve as a sound board and establish best practices.
  • Conduct weekly review meetings with regional PS leadership to review performance, target achievement to date, and share areas of improvement.
  • Work closely with Business Operations management team to share successes and provide early warning for any challenges foreseen from regional meetings.
  • Actively support month-end and quarter-end activities in partnership with Business Operations management team and Finance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an operations role in a SaaS environment (preferably supporting a Professional Services organization)
  • Bachelors degree or comparable degree in business administration
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite - specifically Excel, Word & Powerpoint or G-suite equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Netsuite, OpenAir and Salesforce or Mavenlink experience
  • Comfortable working with senior management both face-to-face and remotely
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks at hand; strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
