Medallia’s GovCloud security team is responsible for securing the environment that we use to serve our federal customers. We’re looking for an exceptional manager who understands how to secure multi-tenant SaaS solutions in the AWS GovCloud environment who will work closely with other product and engineering teams to build, secure and scale Medallia products to meet the FedRAMP requirements at the High impact level. This candidate is passionate about security as well as growing and supporting a highly skilled technical team of security engineers.
Lead a team of highly skilled security engineers that tackle the challenges of providing security oversight and implementation across Medallia's FedRamp environment and products.
Be responsible for the core cloud security infrastructure, product and compliance deliverables related to security at FedRamp High impact level.
Influence, contribute to and deliver on Medallia’s cloud security strategy
Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product management and executives for effectively delivering high quality security controls and align against goals, roadmap and commitments.
Follow policies and operational procedures, lead incident response activities and monitoring efforts across the environment.
Measure project progress using KPI(s) and metrics and communicate plans and updates on a frequent basis.
Communicate clearly (verbal and written) with both internal and external stakeholders about project status.
Build, own and maintain the security controls framework, policies and procedures for Medallia’s FedRamp ATO certification continuance. Support annual assessments and audits as required. Educate resources about security gaps and integrate security best practices in day to day operations and processes.
Responsible for career development and growth of the team.
Must meet requirements to obtain security clearances
3+ years of experience directly managing people in the security domain.
5-7+ years of experience in a technical lead role in the security domain.
Familiarity in delivering a secure and compliant environment in AWS Govcloud
Proven experience leading a highly technical team to deliver on strategic objectives Have had success hiring and retaining top technical talent
Track record of delivering security solutions in risk, compliance, security operations and/or product security.
Passionate about security; Participation in conferences/tech groups and delivering technical talks at knowledge-sharing events to the security community is a plus.
