The Web Analytics and Optimization Manager will work within the Web Operations team to analyze and build outstanding web experiences. This role will partner with Product Marketing, Communications and Content teams to analyze search term performance and build an execution as well as focus on creating a high-quality web experience via Conversion Rate Optimization tactics. This role will manage the relationship between our SEO agency and internal teams to ensure high quality execution of key initiatives.
Skills like basic data analysis, Google Analytics, search engine optimization (SEO), and conversion rate optimization (CRO) are all required for this role.
Should also be proficient in analytical tools like SEM Rush, Moz, or AHrefs. They’ll need to know how to tag and track data, execute A/B testing to optimize engagement and increase conversion rates, as well as prototype and design their recommendations.


  • Constant site optimization through rigorous testing, leveraging Google Analytics, user testing, and other data analysis tools.
  • Reporting out on findings and documenting learnings
  • Consistently implementing documented findings
  • Identify ways to improve engagement and conversion across sites
  • Creatively mockup new initiative ideas and remain comfortable with varying degrees of ambiguity
  • Acting as a SME resource for site optimization
  • Leveraging components and templates to author, edit, and launch pages
  • Proactively managing content within the content management system and taking ownership for quality, consistency, accuracy, and style guide adherence
  • Work across the business to identify opportunities, agree on solutions, put them in place and report on outcomes
  • Assisting with QA, troubleshooting and production issues associated with deployment


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3+ years experience in Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Search Console 
  • 3+ years experience with data analysis, search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, and conversion rate optimization (CRO)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Design and implement A/B testing, interpret, and share results, implement as appropriate
  • Analyze campaign traffic data using Google analytics to track success and make data driven improvement choices. Turn data into dollars, year over year
  • Productivity, initiative, and follow-through. We also appreciate flexibility – because, sometimes things change and we have to roll with the punches.
  • Ability to comprehend the “big picture” to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to interpret feedback/intent from the stakeholder and leadership perspective to reduce iterations
