Accounts Payable Specialist

The Role

Medallia is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its growing Accounting team. This position reports directly to the Accounts Payable Manager and we’re looking for an individual who is excited by the opportunity to improve the accounts payable and vendor master data processes and help take the Accounts Payable team to the next level.  

The areas of responsibilities for this role include invoice processing and vendor records creation and maintenance for North America. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and are detail-oriented with a passion for Excel and numbers, then read on.

This position is located in our Buenos Aires, Argentina office.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices into NetSuite in a timely manner.
  • Create new vendor records and update master data as needed.
  • Respond to vendors and internal customer inquiries promptly.
  • Contribute towards achieving monthly metrics.
  • Analyze and follow up on open items.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams and employees at all levels of management.
  • Review existing processes and suggest improvements.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures and values.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of administrative or accounting support experience
  • English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excel experience
  • Working proficiency of NetSuite
  • Detail and process oriented with exceptional analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Advanced student or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or similar field
