We are looking for an experienced product leader to drive the strategy and delivery of our Crowdicity Product. Crowdicity is Medallia’s idea management platform, which empowers organizations to crowdsource innovation among their employees, customers, and constituents. Companies using Crowdicity include P&G, T-Mobile, and
WWF among many others, and have powered collaboration on topics ranging from consumer hair products to energy conservation, and even a country’s Constitution.

The Principal Product Manager will lead the product strategy for Crowdicity, and work hands on with our engineering team to bring our own product innovation to life. A day in the life will range from meeting with customers to collaborating on the best technical solutions with engineers, to advocating for ideas to our C-Suite and other internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset and experience building and scaling products customers love.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage key features of the Crowdicity which is used by hundreds of the world’s largest brands.
  • Provide recommendations to product leadership based on industry/customer research, and drive consensus and roadmap for your product area.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand the context and prioritize problems in order to precisely articulate them and define product requirements.
  • Own and pragmatically prioritize the backlog - solve the right problem at the right time.
  • Think and build products with a platform mindset, specifically how features fit into the overall platform, how they scale, etc.
  • Work closely with design, engineering, and data science teams to design, define, develop and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Partner with marketing to launch features and achieve their GTM KPIs.
  • Responsible for identifying risks, communicating those risks and recommending solutions that mitigate them.
  • Bridge communications across global teams including our Europe based engineering team and US based leadership teams, among others.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management or experience at high-growth startups or from a large, world-class, enterprise product organization.
  • Combination of enterprise and consumer experience preferred.
  • Experience with community management software or best practices preferred
  • Direct product experience creating and working with APIs as well as front-end software applications.
  • Proven track record of shipping products by translating vision into a product roadmap, collaborating with engineering on product delivery, and taking the product to market.
  • Experience using SCRUM tools to manage the product milestones and communicate priorities.
  • Exceptional at planning, setting expectations, making and meeting commitments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
