About Medallia’s Market Intelligence Team: The Market Intelligence team develops critical market insights that help shape Medallia’s organizational strategy. We take a data-driven approach to uncover new growth opportunities, influence prospective sales deals around the world, and produce industry-leading research for the experience management category Medallia created. 
Value engineering and consulting is a core pillar of the team’s charter, and our team partners closely with Medallia’s global sales ecosystem to deliver analyses that demonstrate the value of Medallia’s powerful suite of technologies to prospective buyers. By showcasing untapped insights and creating concrete business cases, we play a critical role in accelerating sales opportunities and driving top line growth. 

The Role:  As a senior manager on the Market Intelligence team, you will play a critical role leading a team of value realization consultants and supporting key customer engagements. You’ll leverage your quantitative background to help clients and prospects understand the full financial impact of implementing Medallia solutions by developing data-driven business cases and modeling the financial impact of improving customer and employee experiences. You’ll work closely with our global sales ecosystem, and regularly present your work to executive stakeholders at some of the world’s most admired brands. This role will position you for many career growth opportunities at the intersection of customer experience, management consulting, analytics, and presales

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored business cases and financial models that quantify the impact Medallia’s technology for prospective clients
  • Use statistical techniques to help clients and prospects uncover actionable insights from their data; provide strategic recommendations that improve customer experience and increase customer loyalty
  • Engage with executive stakeholders, both internal and external, communicating ideas and presenting compelling findings to audiences (both technical and non-technical)
  • Act as a resource to field sales and marketing teams, developing scalable best practices that can be applied to client programs, new markets, and future sales opportunities
  • Manage and mentor a small team of value realization consultants
  • At least 10% travel required: domestic and internationally

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in management consulting, SaaS pre-sales, or other analytical project leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations to a variety of executive audiences
  • 2+ years of statistical analysis experience working with statistical software packages and/or scripting languages (e.g., R, Python, or STATA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative field
  • Knowledge of customer and employee experience, or related technology or SaaS experience
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Excellent project management skills
