Director of Product Management, Medallia Contact Center

The Role:

As a Director of Product Management at Medallia, you will be the point person driving the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Medallia Contact Center suite of products.  As a part of this role, you will run the recently-acquired Stella Connect product line, a market leading Quality and Performance Management software product for Contact Centers.  We are looking for a talented, technical, “get-stuff-done” product leader to drive the strategy and execution. 


  • Own the roadmap for Medallia’s Contact Center Suite.Manage the Medallia Stella Connect product line used by Contact Center agents and supervisors around the world.
  • Lead the amazing Medallia Stella Connect product team.  Provide regular coaching, knowledge sharing, and insights to drive a high-performing team - but know how to also have fun!Partner with and drive alignment with other product managers at Medallia through strong cross-team product leadership, and deliver the next generation Contact Center product.
  • Provide recommendations to senior leadership based on industry/customer research.Own and pragmatically prioritize features - solve the right problem at the right time.
  • Think and build products with a platform mindset, specifically how features fit into the overall platform, how they scale, etc. Work closely with cross-product engineering teams to design, define, develop and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Partner with marketing to launch features and achieve their go-to-market KPIs.
  • Reports directly to VP of Product Management.


  • 8-10 years of product management experience at high-growth startups or from a large, world-class, enterprise product organization.  Contact Center experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to C-Level executives, both internally and to customers.
  • Direct product experience creating SaaS-based, front end software applications and successfully selling them into the target market.
  • Previously managed a team of product managers.
  • Proven track record of shipping products (both leading a team and individually) by translating vision into a product roadmap, collaborating with engineering on product delivery, and taking the product to market.
  • Exceptional at coaching, planning, setting expectations, making and meeting commitments.
