A phenomenal opportunity exists within our People Operations team as a Global Onboarding Coordinator. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to improve and enhance our onboarding processes and programs including, but not limited to, onboarding new hires, being the "first day" ambassador/point of contact and developing onboarding artefacts in support of making a new hire most successful.


  • Coordinate with People Operations on transitioning the new hire from post-offer to the onboarding process steps.
  • Communicate with new hires and internal stakeholders prior to their first day, shipping swag, and coordinating with local operations and IT teams to ensure operational readiness on day 1.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to plan and facilitate the first week of onboarding.
  • Coordinate first day logistics including conducting orientations in multiple time zones and required documentation.
  • Be the "first day" ambassador/point of contact, facilitating right-to-work checks and IT access verification.
  • Onboard new hires into onboarding systems, HRIS systems, training applications and ensure all necessary documentation is gathered prior to onboarding.
  • Provides Merger and Acquisition Onboarding support for all new hires to ensure successful and compliant onboarding. This includes collaboration with the team on onboarding steps, communications, coordination, and facilitation. 
  • Support and coordinate Onboarding in a timely manner for non-employees at Medallia (Agency Temporary workers, Independent Contractors, Consultants, Vendors, Outsourced Service Providers, and Partners), and partners with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure a  compliant and successful onboarding. 
  • Follow up with new hires and hiring managers to ensure a smooth start and ramping, continuing to monitor for new hire's first 5 days.
  • Support onboarding artifacts, from "getting started" guides to in-depth documentation created in support of making a new hire most successful.
  • Coordinate with any local office entities to assist with site-specific benefits, protocols, operational matters, and regional welcome meeting sessions for new hires. 
  • Support with Global Expansion projects, ad hoc projects, and reports.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with effective prioritization and the ability to work independently.
  • Process-driven, but always looking for ways to optimize.
  • Ability to build, nurture relationships and interact with all levels of management and internal customers.
  • Tech-savvy nature with a natural interest for upleveling experiences through technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with onboarding programs.
