Senior Manager, Procurement (Remote, US)

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Procurement, the Procurement Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing global activities related to the procurement of In-direct corporate goods and services and management of assigned IT and Marketing commodities.  This person would also support internal business peers in establishing and managing in-direct purchasing agreements, RFQ’s and on-time Vendor PO fulfillment.  The position will require a great deal of pro-active problem solving and extensive contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT and CTO Organization project teams to develop procurement strategies to secure competitive pricing and contract terms to drive savings and mitigate risk.
  • Extensive contract experience with Hosting, SaaS, Subscription and Cloud infrastructure providers; negotiate maintenance contracts, hardware purchases for laptops, servers, & telecom services.
  • Analyze monthly spend reports to identify trends and opportunities for further cost reductions.
  • Establish and monitor metrics to measure compliance and impact to the business.
  • Prepares and reviews contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, terms/ conditions, and acceptability of items to specifications.
  • Measure and track internal cost savings performance to targets
  • Vendor management including QBR’s.
  • Manage Open PO Report
  • Daily placement of PO’s in ERP with various global Vendors
  • Assist and train user community with P2P process for submitting a PO request
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve Vendor invoicing discrepancies
  • Compliance to Expenditure Policy and SOX controls
  • Develop a portfolio of Vendors and prospective Vendors' capabilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10 years In-Direct Procurement experience managing IT and Marketing purchases
  • Demonstrated negotiation experience negotiating complex contracts (i.e. for IT, Marketing or similar stakeholder group)
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office, NetSuite, ServiceNow and Tableau

Preferred Qualifications

  • Global experience and managing global IT and Marketing Vendors a plus
  • Ability to prioritize details, communicate quickly, and manager the flow of information in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong communication skills
