This position leads a team of industry, solutions and marketing professionals tasked with driving and accelerating revenue growth. The team partners with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, Marketing and Operation leaders to identify new areas of opportunity, mitigate risks and deliver on goals. The leader will ensure priority verticals and horizontals are supported by Industry and Solutions Principals focused on driving commercial results through vertical/horizontal strategy, thought leadership, market awareness and deal support. They will also lead a team of Solutions Marketers focused on building and developing Medallia’s market presence and product adoption across industries and solutions. Through both teams, the organization will identify opportunities for growth and expansion through product solutioning, identification of buyer personas, and a deep understanding of industry/horizontal needs and challenges. The team raises Medallia’s public profile through the creation of thought leadership content, participation in events, speaking engagements and publications. Principals are active in key deal cycles and maintain strategic customer relationships. The leader of this team will continue to evolve the operating model to ensure that Medallia captures the full value of the team’s expertise and the team performs optimally. In addition to strong internal partnerships, this role is also customer-facing in deals, expansions, and ongoing advisory relationships.
- 10+ years leadership experience
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Proven success in driving growth
- Experience in developing and evolving organizations (SaaS experience preferred)
- Ability to work across the organization towards a common goal
- Sales and/or consulting experience a plus
- Experience and credibility in the CX, EX or SaaS space
- Experienced leader of people and teams
- Masters Degree
