As a Software Engineer at Medallia, you will be joining our Crowdicity team, whose responsibility is to rebuild (and scale) Medallia’s hottest acquisition to date -- a platform for gathering ideas for our customer’s challenges and turning them into actionable items. You’ll help modernize this robust application and contribute to integrating Crowdicity into Medallia. You’ll work with our product team to realize new business opportunities in the employee experience space. Be a part of the team that builds the next generation of Medallia Employee Experience 360!
- Work closely with Product and Design teams to design and implement complex user interfaces and user-facing features for the next generation Employee Experience 360 product.
- Develop new user-facing features and customer-driven enhancements to Employee Experience 360.
- Design and build efficient APIs with the latest technologies like graphQL and Apollo.
- Create fast, easy to use UI components that can be implemented quickly and seamlessly to support diverse clients.
- Participate in a thriving Engineering community, helping shape mid/long-term technical roadmap and architecture patterns for the global Engineering organization.
- Support a team of junior to mid-level engineers through mentorship and technical leadership.

- Bachelors in CS, Engineering, or a related technical field. In lieu, relevant equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience building full-stack apps. Our enterprise applications are built in React, with modern libraries like Apollo, Typescript, and JEST.
- Experience with server OOP languages like PHP, Java, .Net, and Python.
- Masters in CS, Engineering, or other advanced degree.
- Experience building microservices using Node, preferably supporting GraphQL.
- Experience with: PHP, ES6/7, NodeJS, GraphQL, Docker, CSS-in-JS techniques.
- Bring an ownership mindset with quality orientation and DevOps experience.
- Demonstrate strong software engineering fundamentals.
