A phenomenal opportunity exists within Medallia’s Finance Team as we are looking for a Senior
Manager, Stock Administration. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of our
employee equity programs and serve as the functional expert for internal stakeholders (Legal, PnC,
Financial Reporting, Payroll, and Tax) on equity-related issues and partner with these departments to
identify, analyze and implement solutions in support of the company’s equity compensation goals.
You will work closely with all facets of our organization as it expands within the US and
internationally.
Main Responsibilities:
Administer all aspects of global equity programs. Develop stock administration function,
including improvements in processes, implementing automated solutions and evaluating
service providers.
Maintain Stock database and ensure that transactions are correctly processed in a timely
manner. Prepare and process new equity awards, exercises, terminations and releases on a
timely basis for all employees and other equity holders.
Key interface between Accounting, Legal and PnC teams to ensure equity compliance and
deliverables are met globally.
Manage administration of a global Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely tax withholding and reporting.
Maintain trading blackout periods, pre-clearance and enforcement of insider trading policy
restrictions.
Interact with transfer agent to ensure that trades are settled timely and initiate and reconcile
transactions with 10b5-1 trading plans.
Assist with SEC forms including 3, 4, and 5 as needed.
Prepare monthly equity reconciliations for Accounting.
Work with external auditors and Finance team for quarterly reviews and year-end audits, as
well as ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place and procedures are followed to
satisfy compliance with SOX.
Prepare training materials and provide training to employees.
Prepare reports for business partners and respond to ad-hoc data requests on a timely basis.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant experience.
  • 8+ years in stock plan administration, with experience at a public company.
  • Experience with global equity plans and managing an equity administration system.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills .
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and internal/external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Charles Schwab.
  • Experience with Employee Stock Purchase Plans, 10b5-1 plans.
  • Experience with granting and taxation of international equity.
  • Experience with SOX 404.
  • Knowledge of ASC718
  • Experience with Section 16 Forms 3, 4 and 5 a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.
  • Able to effectively deal with high-volume, multiple assignments, concurrent deadlines, and
  • changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to data integrity and accuracy.
  • Project management skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Collaborative management and mentorship of team members.
  • CEP designation preferred.
